Black Belt Club
The term Black belt has become widely known as way to describe an expert in martial arts, where a practitioner's level is often marked by the color of the belt. The black belt is commonly the highest belt color used and denotes a high degree of competence, and often associated with a teaching grade, frequently the highest grade or the expert. It is also a relatively recent invention, dating from the 19th century, rather than an ancient custom.

Gichin Funakoshi, Steven Segal, Chuck Norris, Russell Crowe, Cynthia Rothrock, Billy Blanks, Sonny Chiba, etc.
The Black Belt Club is comprised of those who desire to achieve the coveted Black Belt rank. As a member of the BBC you will be trained in leadership skills, specific and special black belt techniques as well as the more insightful side of martial arts.
Students in this club are the future leaders of Shotokan Karate and will at times be asked to help teach and run classes.
Those who wish to join the Black Belt Club will be expected to work harder than the rest of their peers as they intend to achieve the level of expert in martial arts.
Those who qualify to be part of the BBC team will be allowed to display the Black Belt Club emblem on their Gi.
