May 2010 Announcements!
1st : Beginning the week of June 14th, class hours will be pushed back half an hour to make time for the cleaning crew to clean the floors etc., after the YMCA summer programs end. So instead of 5:00-6:00, it will be 5:30-6:30 and so on.
2nd : Saturday SWAT hours are now officially 2 hours. From 9:00 to 11:00.
3rd : Our website has a lot of new features. Please check it out. All tournament pictures are up to date. Remember, if you have pictures and would like them to be put up, send me a copy. We can now take credit card payments for patches, handbooks, and uniforms. See the Equipment & Uniforms page.
4th : I’m trying to have cubbies made in the classroom as a place for students to put their equipment; as well as trophy case to be built in the hallway entering the YMCA where students can proudly display their achievements. Parents! I could use your help! Ask Dallas and Paula (The two YMCA Program Directors) the progress of these projects. Continually reminding them will hopefully help the speed of the projects.
5th : As a way to boost our recognizability and our name throughout the valley, parents please submit a positive testimonial to be shown on the website. Though the best way is to look for our listings both on Google Maps, and Yahoo Local and to leave a testimonial and rating there. Thank you so much.

Saturday, May 29, 2010 2010 UCSD Karate Kobudo Tournament - Open Tournament will be held in the RIMAC Athletic Center, UCSD.
